  • If we are to carry out an internal treatment, please empty your vacuum cleaner outside as this my harbour spiders, we would like to carry out treatment of the vacuum while on site as it can be infested by false widow spiders and other pests.
  • Skirting boards require accessibility, as this is a regular harbourage point for spiders where they may sit dormant for days.(internal areas only)
  • We recommend that you wash any pet bedding on the safest hottest wash you can prior to treatment.
  • We also advise that personal belongings are bagged and left in the middle of rooms to protect against chemical contact. Any valuables should be safely stored away prior to treatment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT LEAVE HOOVER BAGS IN PROPERTY AFTER YOU HAVE HOOVERED DISPOSE OF IMMEDIATELY

During Treatments for False Widow spiders :

  • Our skilled technicians will run through our treatment before we start.
  • You will then be required to leave the property for six hours to allow us access and ensure that the chemical is dried before re-entry (internal work only).
  • Do not touch any wet chemical on return to the property, although this is highly unlikely after the six-hour exclusion also open windows for ventilation.
  • While external treatment is being carried out please keep all windows and doors closed. Do not approach our technician while he carries out treatment.
  • Please deny access to treated external areas including domestic animals until the treatment is cured. In fair weather around 1 hour.

False Widow spiders Post Treatment:

  • Spiders are aggressive feeders and after our treatments they will become very agitated due to chemical flushing agents and you must be prepared for an increase in activity post our initial visit.
  • The growth hormone regulator used will initially stop the insects from breeding to help reduce the reproduction stages.
  • A second visit if require will need the exact same processes and we can expect slight increases again after our second visit of activity, however this will subside after a few days.
  • Please do not touch or remove any of the non-toxic insect monitors (internal areas if installed).
